Remote Assist Novice Chat Window Missing/Erratic Font Problem

Anyone know how to fix the below problem would be greatly appreciated:

When Chating via text while in remote assist both the expert and novice see
intermittent text. In other words, the text in the chat box for the novice
side has letters that show and dont show making readability dificult. If I
click and hold mouse over the text it sometimes allow the text to brak
through and then the text is readable. Somtimes this works and sometimes it
doesn't.

However, from the Expert side of the house I see on the left side of the
screen in my chat area that the text is perfect and does not diplay this
problem. It's just in the novice remote assist chat window that pops up on
the Novice usere screen, which I can also see.

Any answers to this would be great!

Also, Is there a way to not have this small remote user chat window from
poping up and the Novice user having a chat window on the left side of the
screen like the expert has?

Could it be that the person has a Mic connected and that it's typing
what it hears?
 
This is pretty wierd. I don't have a thought about your basic UI
question--about the fonts thing, all I can imagine is either changing the
video driver or, perhaps, messing with the hardware acceleration settings
slider on the troubleshooting tab of properties of Display Properties,
Settings.
