Hi,

Does anybody have any idea of software available, that
would allow a remote machine to login to my machine and
have a look at the desktop which Iam working, I have
heard about net meeting, and pc anywhere and stuff but
those require installation/configuration of the software
on the other machine as well.

I want to know what kind of software that will allow me
to see another computers desktop without
installing/configuring anything on the remote machine.

Best Regards,

Nilantha

Like you said NetMeeting would allow this. It is installed by default (
Program Files\NetMeeting\conf.exe )

Remote Desktop may fit your needs as well ( enabled in System Properties
Remote tab )

Remote Assistance is another option ( enabled in System Properties >Remote
tab )

These programs are there by default, and just need to be turned on.

It would be too big of a security hole to turn these on by default.

Remotely Anywhere would be a good option. You install the software on the
host machine and you can access it from any computer through the web
browser. If your machine is inside a firewall, you'll have to do a NAT to
port forward through. You can set the port you want it to listen on and you
can also set it to only accept SSL requests.
