HI,

I have two servers, Server01 (sbs2000) and Server02 (w2000server). Both SP4.
FRS failed on Server 01 with ultimately sysvol being replicated back to
Server01 from Server02.
Accounts and policies revived, but Remote admin on Server01 is now failing
(Remote admin on Server02 still works).

run 'rsadmin' and it states that TDP-TCP (listener) is 'Down (65547)'.

running Remote Desktop from worksation gives the error 'The client could not
connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled.....
or too busy....."

Event log on workstation shows no error
Event log on Server01 shows no error for time of attempted connection

I have though of removing 'terminal services' and reinstalling, but unsure
of implications.

any help or suggestions appreciated

cheers

That sounds like SBS post sp4 having a fight between TS and Exchange
Terminal Server keeps indicating that the TS server is busy?:

responsible. Use what you have, and make sure you know how
to use it properly and effectively."

Susan,

i carried out the instructions as suggested, but remote admin still fails to
work. I now have the 'listener' failing on (65536).

Any further ideas?

I've searched for definitions of the failure codes, but am unsuccessful

cheers
