hello there, i got two pc and want to control one with the other remotely,
one is running win2000 the other is xp pro, they're both on the same home
network group but i can't view the pc screen.

I suggest UltraVNC. Get the host/server, client, video driver (for the
host/server PC only) and encryption plug-in from...

I forgot to add that you can remotely control the XP Pro box using Remote
Desktop. Only use UltraVNC to control the W2K box from the XP box...

which pc do i install VNC, xp pc or the wk2000 pc?

Install the VNC server and video driver on the W2K box and the VNC client on
the XP Pro box if you want to remotely access/control the W2K box from the
XP Pro box.

Use Remote Desktop if you want to remotely access/control the XP Pro box
from the W2K box.
