Remote Access

I can't see the remote PC over the internet. I have Remote access turned on
and supply the ip address on the host.

Am I missing something?

Assuming you have a router, have you enable the port 3389? Or do a simple test using telnet ip 3389 command.

What program are you trying to use for remote access? If its XP Pro Remote
Desktop see this page for help. Remember the Remote Desktop host PC must be
running XP Pro...

If your running XP Home on the remote host PC you want to connect to then
you need to use something like UltraVNC and make sure TCP Port 5900 is open
on any firewall between the server/host PC and the internet. Call using the
public IP of the firewall/host PC.
