Rick

I have a PC on our network that is having some strange
problems. After checking the security log one of the
messages was the following:

The connection to The Internet (2) made by user using
device IRDA6-1 was disconnected.

Could anyone tell me what this is? I have searched the
knowledgebase for IRDA6-1 and nothing is found.

Thank You

IrDA is an Infrared Data Association device like a Palm Pilot or a wireless
keyboard. If you are not using any such devices, go into your BIOS setup
and see if any of your peripheral ports, especially com ports, are set to
IrDA. If so, change the settings.
