How do I set up Windows 2000 Server SP4 (with ISA Server installed) to:
- provide internet access (only) to client
- provide internet access plus access to files, email

Windows 2000 is a stand-alone server in an NT4 domain, with 2 NICs.
ISa Server is in integrated mode, connected to ISP via
DSL. There are no other firewalls installed.
Email server is Exchange 5.5.
External clients are Windows 98 and Windows 2000 Pro using dial-up modems.

Thanks,
alan

When a client connects to VPN Server they will get Windows 2000 server as
their default gateway. IF, windows 2000 server has internect connectivity
clients will also get internet connectivity without any additional
configuration from your part.

Accessing files and email is through authentication by NT4 domain and this
process is seperate from authentication by VPN Server. VPN Server
authentication just puts you on the network. However to access files on
shares and email on exchange server you need to provide seperate credentials
as required by the file share or email server. If you don't provide clients
with appropriate credential for these resources (email, file shares) then
clients will just be able to get internet connectivity.

Thanks
