That depends on what version of Windows XP you have. If you have XP Pro,
then you can go to the System Applet in the Control Panel, click the Remote
tab and check the box under Remote Desktop. Then just be sure that you have
a password assigned to the account that you will be logging in as remotely.
From the remote computer, if they have Windows XP, go to Start | Programs |
Accessories | Communications | Remote Desktop Client (or Start | Run |
mstsc) and type in the IP of the computer to which you wish to connect,
configure the other settings as you wish, and connect to it.
If the remote computer does not have Windows XP, you will need to download
the Remote Desktop Client from
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/tools/1.0/wxp/en-us/msrdpcli.exe
