My plan was to create a invitation for remote access and send it to my
internet address. Then while I am away from home use the remote access
invitation to get control over my computer. The first problem I ran into is
that somene needs to be at the computer to agree for the access, then someone
has to allow remote control. Is there a shortcut so i can get control over
my computer without any input from a user on the computer I want control
over? Real VNC just asks for a password. you put that in from any location
and you have contol. I can't seem to get the same abilities with this remote
access> Am I missing something?

Hi Larry,

You need to use Remote Desktop, not Remote Assistance. Remote Assistance
requires user intervention on the system being accessed, Remote Desktop does
not - you simply logon to your profile. RD is not available in all versions
(ultimate, business, enterprise, but not home basic or premium), but this
only applies to the host system. The system accessing it can be Vista, XP,
or Win2000. If your version does not support RD, you will need to use a
third party product like RealVNC.
