Remote access & file transfer

I have wondows XP professional on my PC & wish to connect with clients whon
have windows XP Pro & Windows XP home. I need to download files at month end
& then return them to client via remote access. Where do I start, & what is
required.

You might look at setting up a VPN server on your PC and allow your clients
to put the files in a shared folder on your PC. Alternatively you could have
them setup a VPN server on their PCs so you could access the files from your
PC.

....or Secure Shell. If you go the SSH route I recommend copSSH as your SSH
server package of choice. Its actively maintained and is based on OpenSSH,
OpenSSL and cygwin and is upgraded as those are upgraded. WinSCP is a nice
free file transfer program.
