Hi,

we cannot start the remote access auto connection manager service. it fails
with an unknown error and when we try and open a user property page we get
the "dial-in page error" and we cannot get to the properties page.

any ideas?

thanks

Jamie

Hi Jammie,

To resolve this issue check permissions on the following registry keys:
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\SecurePipeServers\winreg
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\SecurePipeServers\winreg\AllowedPaths

LOCAL SERVICE should have READ permission on both keys.

Thanks,
Gary
