When reviewing my event files lately, (and let's assume
I'm an idiot on computers), I have been runnning into
remote access for no apparent reason, as well as
anonymous logons. What does this mean?

I recently hadsomeone on my computer whom I don't
trust...sometimes my mouse will move involuntarily...or
more accurately voluntarily away from what I am trying to
do.

Got any ideas?

Turn on your ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) and allow it to block all
the incoming ports.

Make sure (after you turn it on) to look at the "settings" (button at the
lower right of the window where you turn on the ICF) and insure nothing is
checked that you don't want checked.

That would be the easiest solution. If this "person" installed some third
party software to remotely access your machine - this will stop that.

Post back here with excerpts from a few of the applicable event log
entries. Some anonymous logins are legitimate (especially if you are
in a workgroup network)...
