Reminders on Private Calendars

Hello
I use Outlook Calendar for work (Vista) and have a second, private calendar with private appointments, birthdays etc.
However, when I try and set a reminder in my private calendar, it won't let me, stating that 'the item is not in your calendar or tasks folder'.
How can I set reminders on my private appointments?

Have you tried putting them in your calendar first and then into your private one. Then taking them out of the first one??
Bit of a runaround though.
 
Don't know anything about Outlook Calendar but you can run two separate calendars on Windows Calendar which is on Vista.

Unless, of course, you are obliged to run Outlook cos it's Work's policy.
