Good Morning,

I have a simple problem that has been bugging me for years. Everytime I
wipe my system, I backup my PST file. After I restore my contacts I look
and see if all my birthdays or anniversary's are in place and they are. But
when it's time to remind me about them nothing happens.

I have to delete the days (in the spot where you put the dates) and then
recreate them and sometimes when I do that I get doubles. I have tried
using the same PST file and I have tried just importing the contacts with
the same results. I can't even find the location of the reminder in my
contact page. I think that perhaps I need to check something off on the
reminder but I can't find the date or reminder to look for anything.

I am running Windows XP Pro SP2 with Office 2003 SP1

Any help would be appreciated

How do you "restore" your PST file?
Importing is never the correct way. Reminders are among a host of data you
lose that way.
You should configure Outlook to use your old PST file.

Hi Russ

I have done that do. What I have done in the past was just open Outlook and
point it to my PST file but the same thing happened. So this time around I
copied the contents into the new PST file such as my Contacts.

Can I delete the dates and then recreate them again with out any issues?

Thanks
Adam
