reminders hours after dismissal

Hi Folks,
I have one user who gets the meeting alerts as he should before the events,
dismisses them, and goes on. Hours sometimes later though, even though he hit
dismiss earlier, gets the reminder alerts still for the events. This seems to
happen for all events. It is Outlook 2007 on an Exchange 2003 server. Anyone
seen this before? Thanks!
