Reminders for email messages

I'm using Outlook 2003. When I flag an email message for
Follow Up and schedule a Reminder, the reminder only
shows in the Reminders Window (at the scheduled "Due by"
date and time) if the message is in my default Inbox.

I thought this limitation was "fixed" in OL2003 such that
the email could reside in almost any folder and the
Reminder would still display. Is this not the case? I've
searched the KB to no avail. Any thoughts?

Ken Slovak has a pretty cool little add-in that enables you to
get reminders on items in any email, contacts, tasks or
calendar folder in your default mail store.

Nope -- Outlook 2003 has the same limitation as previous versions when it
comes to which folders reminders will fire from. You might want to visit
www.slovaktech.com and check out Extended Reminders and Reminder Manager,
two add-ins which will add the reminder functionality to other folders.
