Reminder window keeps popping up

I have a screen that says "Reminder" with todays date and
time. The only way I can close it is to do an end task.
The box has the standard "page cannot be displayed"
message you might see in Internet Explorer. After I colse
it anouther pops up in a few minutes.

check your startup folder for some stupid program that might be causing it.

Right click in the "page cannot be displayed" message and choose PROPERTIES.

This should tell you what page is trying to load and may give a hint as to
what is happening. Post the address here.

Greetings --

Sounds like a remnant of some shareware or evaluation software
that you tried and subsequently removed. Since you can use Task
Manager to close it, you know the application's name. Simply use
MSConfig to show you where the command starting this program is
originating, so that you can permanently eliminate the source of your
irritation. Look in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Start Up and C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start
Menu\Programs\Start Up folders, and in the system registry, primarily
in the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
