Reminder will not appear

Reminders that were set before this problem but will not
activate. When I try to set a new one, I get this error.
The reminder for "TEST" will not appear because the item
is not in your Calendar or Tasks folder. After checking
the user's personal folders, I found 4 calendars under the
Deleted folder. I tried to 1.move the folder, 2.deleted
the folders. Still not working. The user is running MS
Outlook 97 on a Wins98 computer.
Any ideas on this one?????

By default reminders only fire from the default Inbox, Calendar, Contacts
and Tasks folders. In other folders items with reminders only turn red when
due.

Exit and logoff Outlook and then start it from the command line using the
/cleanreminders switch. That will clear out old reminders and force the
Reminders folder to re-scan the 4 default folders for items with reminders
on them. See if that helps.

I did that. But still go the error whenI tested. I could
however delete the additional calendars and that did the
trick.
