reminder pop up software or similar

anything at all that will remind me to do some stuff on the pc.(similar to outlook reminders)

(i have outloook express)

i don't mind if its a pop up program, just the fact it would remind me.

I've not tried the feature, but Stickies - recommended here recently -
looks like it should do this with its 'sleep' feature

I'm not sure if you want an alarm clock sort of thing, in which case you're
sorted, or what I use, a daily look at what's coming up when you fire up.

For this I use Birthday reminder (daft name and icon - great prog)
