How do you set a reminder for a recurring task?

e.g. A task that repeats every weekday Mon-Fri and you want to set a reminder that pops up on all those days at 8am

Thanks lk

when you create the recurring task, set a reminder.

I have tried this and all it does it set a reminder for
one instance of the task rather then for every instance of
the task.

Perhaps I have misunderstood you, but there is no ability
to set a reminder in the Recurring dialogue box.

P.S. I am running Outlook2000

Thanks lk1

You can't dismiss the reminder or it will be dismissed for all occurrences.
Either mark the task complete and the reminder will be reset for the next
occurrence, or skip to the next occurrence of the task (you can find the
Skip command on the Actions menu). The reminder is set on the task itself,
not in the Recurrence dialog...but if it's a recurring task, the reminder
will apply to each occurrence as long as you don't dismiss it.
