Reminder notice...

I have used an older computer and now have upgraded to
windows xp. I get a "reminder" after about 15 minutes of
up time. There is no subject or program related to it,
but says "the page cannot be displayed." I guess
something is trying to connect to the internet, but I
have no idea what program? Can someone help, it doesn't
go away and takes up the screen. I can only move it
around.

WinXP is trying to update but your IE (Internet
Click to expand...
Explorer) is not set to go to the URL. Rightclick IE
(icon on desktop) > Properties > Programs tab - now reset
Internet programs to your specifications > click Apply >
OK. Reboot and it should go to Microsoft website for
updates.
