Reminder for a non-existant meeting!

A user here who gets reminded for a meeting that was cancelled on the 22
November 2004. 55 weeks overdue! If I click open item on the reminder
screen, it says the item cannot be found. If I go to that date in the
calendar, the day is blank.

How can I get rid of this rather persistant reminder??

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command line switch.
