Remembering passwords

I can not save my name and password when the prompt asks me if I want Windows to remember this information. I click the yes box but the next time I visit the same website it asks the same question. It did not record the info from the last time. Have I changed a setting somewhere? This feature has worked in the recent past.

In IE, tools, content tab, autocomplete button, tick the appropriate boxes.
