When you log onto a new site, which requires and ID (like an e-mail address)
and a password, Windows will ask if you want Windows to remember this ID and
password. If you elect: YES, then next time you sign onto that site,
generally all you have to do is click once on the ID box and hit Enter.
If you tell Windows: NO, then maybe next time it will ask again, but
eventually Windows will stop asking. So then the ID and password must be
entered manually each time.
Is there a way to "wake Windows up" so that it will ask once again?
Frequently one might want to sign onto a site manually, until it's trusted or
part of the routine, but then it would be nice to have this automatic.
