Remember My Password

In Windows 2000, when connecting to a network source that requires logging
in, the option to remember my password is not available like it is in
Windows XP. Is there a way to have this option?
Thanks,

Well, actually that feature was available in Windows 98 also. But thanks
for the reply

I came in search of the same thing. I have a printer I'm trying to share
over the network, and it won't connect unless I've provided some credentials
to the machine it's on. Setting up a "My Network Place" from an XP machine
with the option to save the password works like a charm, but that option
doesn't seem to exist in Windows 2000 for either a Network Place or mapped
drive. Is there any way to set up a Win2k machine so the user doesn't have to
deal with another password prompt after logging in (as they do if I map a
drive)?

Thanks,
David Murphy
