Remember each window size

I have a client who clicks on internet explorer and the
window opens in a small window, I then maximize the window
by clicking on the square next to the x in the upper right
hand corner, then I close the window and open internet
explorer again, but the window is small again, without
pressing f11 how can I have the window remember to open in
the maximize view, see f11 gives me a full screen view
which is not needed I would like to just have the
maximized view setting.

Try holding down the "shift" key while closing. For whatever reason the
window metrics aren't being saved to registry.
