I have my hard drive partitioned into drive C and D and
while I have my software and XP installed onto C would
like to store all my documents and data onto the larger D
drive. To do this I would want the map the windows
directory called 'My Documents' to the D drive and have
it recognised as the default location by my software when
saving.

Is this possible and how can I do it?

Thanks,

Sam

Sam,
Right click on My Computer and select Properties. From the dialog that
opens, select 'Move'. Then it will bring up a dialog box for you to select
the new location. Select your D drive, then hit OK It will ask you if you
want to move the files from your original location to your new location.
Select 'yes' and you're good to go!
