relocating moved programs

My son has moved some files from ALL PROGRAMS onto his desktop.
How can i return them to ALL PROGRAMS and create shortcuts for him?

desktop on the top and then ctrl+click any files you want
to move, then just drag them into whichever folder you
want. Or, if there is more than 1 user on the computer,
go to windows explorer and click my computer->local disk
c: (or whatever your drive is labeled)->Documents and
Settings->(your son's name)->Desktop. This should show
all the files on the desktop that was put there by him.
And just do the same ctrl+click to highlight them and
move them back. To create a shortcut for him, right click
the folder or file you want to create a shortcut for and
click copy. Then go to the destination folder (or the
desktop) and right click again and click paste shortcut.
