Is there a way to move the favorites folder to another
drive other than c:?

I'd like to use a drive with a smaller cluster size so
that the favorites wouldn't take up so much room. It
seems that each entry takes up a complete cluster,
regardless of the entry size.

Thanks,

DAW

Yes.

You can change the value of Favorites in the Registry in these
two keys: (ignore the second if the value is not there)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders

This works in Windows 2000 and probably in XP. Open Windows Explorer,
locate your Favorites folder, and move (don't copy) it to the desired
location. You should get a pop-up box asking whether you want to move the
system file desktop.ini. You do.

Hi Don - You can use TweakUI to do this. Copy them from their current
location to your new location then change to that on the dropdown on General
tab in TweakUI.
