Reload Window XP Home

I have been working two years with Windows XP Home Edtion, but now I think it is corrupted because I am having problems with Mail Merge from Access (Office Pro 2002 XP Professional), I reload Office twice and in different languages and I got the same problem "Microsoft Access has encounter a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". This happens when I try in the Mail Merge wizard to make any of the two choices, to create a new document or use an existent one. I got the message and MS Access close down, no further message or explanation.
