Can someone help? I've added a photo gallery to my web
page and I want the thumbnails to link to the JPEG files
in the My Pictures directory rather than re-saving the
pictures within my web page (to save hard drive space).
When I save the photo gallery, it asks me if I want to
save the embedded files. I say "Don't save and keep
original link". However, the thumbnails then point to
C:.../My Documents/My Pictures instead of the shared web
folder called My Pictures which means the pictures aren't
displayed. To fix this, I can manually edit all of the
hyperlinks on the real.htm page to point where I want but
isn't there some automated way of pointing the thumbnails
to the My Pictures folder which I've designated a web
folder?

Please help as it's driving me nuts!

If you do not import the images into your current open FP web, then once you
publish the web to the internet, only you will be able to see the images,
since the path to the images will point to your HD.

I don't plan to publish the web to the internet (I'll
just be using my home PC where I created the web as the
web server for friends and family to look at photos).
Considering this, is there any solution to my problem?

You still must import the images into the web unless your family and friends
with actually be sitting at your computer when viewing the photos.

If you want to keep the photos where you current have them, then you will
have to manually maintain the hyperlinks, etc.
