Relationships are simple! If you create a relationship, you then must decide
whether or not to enforce referential integrity. If you enforce referential
integrity, then you must decide whether or not you want cascade update and
cascade delete.
Your problem more likely has to do with good design of the tables structure for
your database. You need to do some studying of the principles of normalization.
