Relationship indeterminate

I am in class and was posed this question in our discussion group "what does
it mean when access says the relationship is indeterminate. I have search
everywhere and cannot come up with the answer. Can anyone assist me before
weeks end?

You'll get an indeterminate relationship when neither table has a
unique Index on the joining field.
