Related Searches Column

Hi. I'm browsing through Chrome on my Win 7 using my netbook. I have no problem with it then but something is happening now for two weeks. Everytime I access my internet, after an hour, an inch-wide column will appear on every page I open in Chrome. It says "Related Searches" at the top of the column. I can close it but once I open another page, it will appear again! What is it and how do I get rid of it? It's really annoying.

sounds like you have malware

I strongly suggest you pop along to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ and seek their advice, they will help get rid of any and all nasties ... just using an AV program will not help.

Thanks for the advice. Will do now. Thought my anti-virus blocked this.
