My camera captures movies in mov format, so I use Video Cleaner Lite to
convert them to avis for use with Movie Maker.

When I convert an mov, I have access to a Windows MP Series 9 codec that
works BEAUTIFULLY with virtually no loss of quality. My problem is, and I
blush to admit it, I have no idea how I got it. It didn;t come with the
converter. I see these codecs discussed on the Microsoft website, but there
never seems to be a way to d/l them. The machine has the latest version of
MP (10).

I'm sorry to be so dumb, but I'm getting a new computer soon and REALLY need
to know how to get the codec on that one as well.

Any help you can give me is appreciated!

Thank you!
