Sorry, in reply to previous post, I hadn't used any spyware, It just went
when SP2 was installed.

Hurrya Back

Hurrya,

It's removed in XP SP2. To create the extension is to download the zip file below:

Download: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/alexa.zip
Unzip, place "related.htm" into your "\WINDOWS\Web" folder
Right-click on "RestoreAlexa.reg", select: Merge, and reboot.

Sorry Ramesh, that didn't work either. I did once contact Msoft and all they
could suggest was that I download and use the full Alexa bar program which is
a no no, to obtrusive. I guess i'll have to spread my time over with Netscape
7.0. Thanxs.

Works perfectly for me, in a SP2 system here.

I've tried what you suggested, but i'm stuck. I have "zip genius 5.5" instead
of WinZip. What takes place of "merge"?

Make sure that the extension is applied correctly to the registry. Open Regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\{c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a}

If the above key exists and still does not work, customize the toolbar buttons and add "Related" to the "Current toolbar..." list.

Hi ramesh, I just re-installed WinZip and did as you said and, hey presto,
it's back. Thank you very much, you a "surfing saviour"!
