rejoin to a domain

Hello.

When i format a computer, i seems to have problems if i give it the same
name as it had before, this means i got to call it something different,
which is a pain. I am using XP Pro on my clients and Win200 with AD on the
server. Any ideas how i can sort this?

Try removing it from the Domain before you do the reinstall.

no, have a domain admin remove the computer account from the domain for that
machine. then when you rejoin it will be a fresh start.

Or do an install as a local standalone machine then have Admin remove it

and rejoin it to the Domain
