Hi all
I tried to resize (make smaller) a reiserfs (linux) partition usin
Suse's yast partitioner
Now I can not mount it, utilities such as debugreiserfs cant se
a partition there, where reiserfsck tries but can't succeed
Of course data is there because I can see it using gre
(grep -a -B2 -A200 "Hi mum" /dev/hdb8
The partition's data occupies about 18.5G
The partition used to occupy about 37G
The hard disk is about 39.5 Gb and there are three mor
partitions there an ext2 of a few megabytes (at the beginning
think
a linux swap of 1Gb and a fat32 of 1Gb
The last one is the reiserfs partition. Before resizing it used t
occupy untill the end of the disk. Until I resized it to 18.5 Gb
i have run partition magic on it. the errors are listed in thi
file here (too long to post it)
http://www.soi.city.ac.uk/~livantes/pm.tx
I ran findpart on the disk (after the resizing) with the followin
results
(the same file but with preserved tabs/spaces is here
