On trying to reinstall window 2000 on my PC to repair
possible corrupt files, an error message pops up: NO VALID
SYSTEM PARTITION WERE FOUND, set will not continue.....
What should I do to reinstall?

You are not very clear regarding the scenario in which
you have to reinstall. Does the OS not start at all or
is it just an issiue with corrupt files?

This is occuring because Windows 2000 CD does not contain drivers for you
SCSI/IDE controller. You need to make a Windows 2000 driver floppy for your
controller and then press F6 when prompted to when booting from the 2000
CD. After it loads for a bit it will pause and prompt you to put in a
floppy with the drivers.
