reinstalling XP

I have just crashed my harddisc and I`m about to reinstall my Win XP pro upgrade disk. During the setup I`m asked to insert an earlier version of Windows. But my problem is that I can`t find my Win 98 disk!!! I s there anybody that know how to solve this problem??? I`m in desperate need of help!!!!!

Borrow a Win 98 , SE , ME disk from a friend. Jym

You need a Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME or 2000 installation CD
to insert in the CD drive when requested to do so. If you don't have
one of those CDs, you are out of luck since you are not eligible to
perform a clean install using an upgrade version of Windows XP.

The alternative is to go out and purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP.

I actually don`t know anybody who has other versions of win. I really got to reinstall xp in a hurry. any other tips??? Please
 
Renew your search for the Win 98 disk that you used for the upgrade. Jym
