Windows XP Reinstalling XP - will I be able to get SPs?!?

Hi all
First post so please be gentle!

I'm finally building up the motivation to reinstall Windows XP on my lumbering old desktop, which is getting so slow as to be unusable.

However, it occurs to me that I may have missed the boat now that Microsoft have dropped support for XP?

If I reinstall Windows from my original CD-ROM, will I have any access to Windows updates or Service Packs, etc.?

With support for XP ended and doing a full install you might find Zorin os of interest.
