reinstalling xp pro v1

I posted this last week and am hoping someone can help me out here as I am in
the middle of putting my system back together and just need a couple of
things pointed out.

The folder "wayne" belongs to the first account for wayne.
The folder "wayne.home" belongs to the second account for wayne.

What do you mean by 1st and 2nd account. How do I make two accounts under
the one id. I just created another user with administrator privleges and all
it came up with was the name under file explorer, not name.computername ie
fred, but no fred.home. It appears that when you log on, the system is
looking for name.home. However I just copied a shortcut from my desktop to
the desktop of the newly created user, switched users and the new desktop
item was displayed, and when I go into file explorer there is still no
name.home showing. It is actually connecting to the file name (where name is
the username)

Andrew I know how to create and delete user accounts. My question is in the
documents and settings folder there is a user profile account created for
each user. Well I have one that is wayne and another that is wayne.home. How
are these two created as when I created another user it only created one
profile ie fred and no fred.home. What are these two profiles under each user
id and why do you get two under one profile and one under another.
