I've found that the more software I install and the more I use my computer, the more sluggish Windows XP becomes. I have created a new profile for myself at different times, and the new profile seems to work well -- just as if it was a new installation of Windows XP. But that only works for so long. I have plenty of free space on the hard drive; I have defragmented, used Ace Utilities to clean up a lot of loose ends, etc
I would like to reinstall Windows XP, to see if that will fix corrupt or lost files and such, but I can't find my Product Key! I am legal; it's just that I store my XP Disk in a transparent CD case, and misplaced the Product Key tag from the original retail case. How can I find out what my Key is, so I can enter it in the field when asked during installation? (And, will a reinstall fix some things?)
