Reinstalling Word and Excel after system crashed

I had deleted some dll files inadvertently and had my computer brought to a
pro to restore and backup hard drive. Now, I no longer had word, excel, etc
on my system. How can I get these back? Only disc I have is "Microsoft
Office XP" which came with the PC. System properties show I currently have
WIndows XP home edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2. Please help.....

Microsoft Office XP contains Word, Excel etc. it is not the same as your
operating system which is Windows XP Home Edition. Just pop your Office disk
in your computer and follow the prompts.

I have already tried that, when I insert the disk, nothing happens. There
are no prompts.

Place the CD in the drive, open My Computer and double click on the CD
drive, the installer should then run, alternatively place the CD in the
drive, open Windows explorer, click on the CD (probably called Office10)
then double click on the setup file (probably called SETUPPLS.EXE, atleast
that is what it is called on my copy). Once installed go to the Windows
Update site for Office and get the patches for Office XP.
