Hey all, I want to reinstall my copy of Windows Vista Home Premium as a
clean installation, neaing I don't want any of my programs to linger on the
computer. However, I have a folder (c:\grant\" that I want preserved during
the install. Is this possible?

By the way, can retail copies of Vista be upgraded to Ultimate?

Just install without formatting.
By the way, can retail copies of Vista be upgraded to Ultimate?

Any retail version of Vista can be upgraded to Ultimate via Anytime Upgrade:

Back it up to CD or USB drive before you do a clean install.
