I just purchased a new computer, installed XP Pro.Also
moved my old hard drive to it as well. Am in the process of
moving all my business files etc. to the new computer - is
there a way to use the programs and files on the old hard
drive or must I re-install each program on the new drive
and move my files and folders over?

Thanks for any information on making this process easier!

The software application you will need to reinstall because files are copied
to the C: drive by default. As you have installed xp to a new computer those
links will not be available. Document files, on the other hand, can be left
on the old drive. Although it may be wise to copy them to your new drive and
then keep the old ones as a backup. Remember to update them though on the
old drive.
