How can I uninstall my network and reset it up? the computer used to set it
up is no longer attatched to the network and i cannot change settings for
wireless etc. I have learned how to setup the network from scratch, but
cannot remove existing setup. help

Wireless networking can be using either Wireless Zero Configuration or
the manufacturer's own utilities to control the network settings. It
is also the easiest to reset by uninstalling the drivers in Add/Remove
Programs and then re-installing.

Your post doesn't make much sense. Are you trying to reconfigure a
wireless router? If so, you can use *any* computer connected to the
router, although preferably you should use one that is connected by
Ethernet cable rather than wireless.

If you're not trying to reconfigure your router, what settings on what
computers do you want to change (and why)?

Hi
I you do not need a network than disconnect the computers from the
Router/Switch/hub, and that it.
If you want to change the name of the network, change it on each computer
and the entries of the old names would disappear after few boots.
If the computer that use to configure the Network gone but there is still
other computers on the Network. On a peer-to-peer network any computer can
take over and do what the previous computer did.
