reinstalling IE6

I'm about to uninstall IE6 to go back to the original
version. I then expect to reinstall IE6. When they warn
me that I will lose 'certificates' what do they mean?
Updates? I want to be sure of what I'm doing before I do
it.

Windows version? What is your problem that you think reinstalling IE6 will
help overcome?

IE has told me I have a bug in the browser. Also, no
matter what I do, I can't enable Active X and therefore
cannot download my Mcafee updates. I have AdAware and
scan regularly. I feel that I need to reinstall to get
rid of these problems. any suggestions?
