Save your bookmarks, here's how.
Bring up IE, and click on File, and then Import and Export.
The Import/Export Wizard will come up, click on Next.
Click on Export Favorites then Next
Then you can select all or some of your favorite folders,
Me I just click Next to Export everything.
Now it will put all your IE Bookmarks and save them
in the default folder of "My Documents" but you can
hit browse and save your bookmarks anywhere you
want.
Then that's it, and click finish. It will tell you that you have
successfully saved your favorites. If you didn't change the
name, all your bookmarks are now saved to a file called
bookmark.htm.
After you reinstall IE, click on file, and Import and Export
This will bring up the Wizard, then click on Next
Now click on Import Favorites, then Next, then if you
saved bookmark.htm in My Documents, it will be right
there for you, or hit browse and go to the folder to where
you saved it and click Next, then you can select some or
all, but I just click Next
The Wizard will tell you that you have successfully completed
the Import/Export Wizard, and all you got to do now is click
Finish, so click on Finish and it will tell you that you have
successfully Imported favorites...
