reinstalling IE 6

I am having so many issues with the way IE6 is acting. Can I re-install it?
If so, How? Do you just install OVER what I have... I have a dell computer
and no original install discs. I have xpsp2. Can I use someone elses
windows disk? Can I download--I only have dial up..
